ADMINISTRATION & CUSTOMER SERVICE- BEHIND THE SCENES MOVING US FORWARD

Sophie is the mission control at Metro Bike Share. She believes bicycles have the power to change the world and makes sure to ride every day to keep a good balance. Sophie studied business in Madrid, worked in Buenos Aires, Paris and Los Angeles developing her project management skills in various industries. She also had her own bike shop and worked for a So-Cal electric car Start up! She moved with husband and son to LA in 2010 with the idea that she could probably help this huge city to get converted to biking through bike sharing - as many other cities in the world have. Her role at Bicycle Transit Systems in LA is to make sure every process go smoothly so that bikes & docks are available and in a good shape in Los Angeles, users are happy and multiply themselves so the program keeps being successful and expands! Sophie also volunteers at the local school on a walk-and-bike-to-school program because education starts early and because she believes bicycles make cities safer, create smaller and promising city centers, and bring smiles on faces.
